The Fine Art Gallery consists of images documenting my twenty years of travel and of living at Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe offers up daily opportunities to shoot sunrises, sunsets, sailboat silhouettes, piers, and stormy skies in a myriad different ways, always unique and incredibly beautiful. My travels have taken me to most of the National Parks of the West: from the waterfalls of Yosemite to the sand dunes of Death Valley, and to southern Utah’s Zion Narrows, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Lake Powell. 

 

 

High Mountain Imagery prints my photos onto canvas, which I then stretch and frame, by hand, which allows me to take control of the final product.  Framed prints on canvas of 18”x 32” or larger are limited to a series of 50, which come with a signed certificate of authenticity.  My larger prints can be as big as 36” x 57”, which is a scale that befittingly portrays the magnificent vistas that I photograph, and will make a stunning statement by bringing the great outdoors into your home or office.

 

My love of photography has spilled over into to my Wedding and Portrait service.  Most fine art photographers will not do weddings, but I find them fun and engaging, and I capture the moment with an artist’s touch.  My use of canvas adds depth and quality to photographic portraiture that you will be proud to put on your wall at home.  My services range from basic prints to a complete wedding album, all at reasonable prices.

 

 
Tahoe has no shortage of amazing world-class athletes and athletic events, and I find that shooting football, soccer, skiing, and various other types of local action has sharpened my reaction time so that I don’t miss a single moment.   I often shoot football games, soccer games, and ski racing. I use a 50 to 500 mm Sigma lens that lets me get right into the action.  My action shots or group photos will let you remember your day on the slopes with your family and friends for a lifetime.
